Prototype. The flow you see is simulated; nothing here is live and nothing moves money.
A new idle-pay report, verified

Stamp the next idle-pay report

A wooden receipt spike on a scratched desk, holding overlapping stamped slips

One press opens a real short on edgeX from your own wallet: $5 of margin at 2x, $10 notional — the smallest order the venue accepts. No exchange closes a position on a clock, so our Worker does it at hour 24 and stamps the PnL it actually got.

Procedure

How a cycle gets stamped

A clerk pressing a stamp onto a receipt form, a wall clock behind

We read reports carried by at least two outlets and quote them verbatim. You open one real short from your own wallet: $5 of margin at 2x, $10 notional, which is the smallest order edgeX will take. No exchange closes on a clock, so our Worker closes it at hour 24, and the PnL it actually got is stamped into the blank field beside the headline.

The Spike

Each settled receipt joins the public ledger

Every number is real or it is marked missing.

No cycles have settled yet. The spike is empty — this prototype has never opened a real position.

Aggregate, every ten cycles

Cumulative idle figure stands at $9.5bn

0 of 10 cycles settled. The aggregate publishes once the tenth cycle closes — never a projected number before then.

Why come back

New idle-pay reports keep arriving

Each dated report the GAO or a carrying outlet publishes opens one more cycle here. The desk does not run out of paper.

Method

Headlines and figures are quoted verbatim from the linked reports; we never paraphrase a public figure and never carry a quote that is not in those reports. Every position is opened by you from your own wallet at the venue’s minimum order size, and closed by our own timed Worker rather than by the exchange — no venue closes a position on a clock. The site never takes custody. Each receipt carries a signature over the source URL, open tx, close tx and PnL that can be checked on the reader page.
